What are team coaching programs?
Team coaching programs are structured development experiences that help a group improve how it communicates, makes decisions, manages conflict, builds trust, and delivers results together. Rather than focusing only on individual leadership skills, team coaching examines shared behaviors and operating habits. Lincoln Leadership Institute combines facilitated learning, immersive scenarios, reflection, and practical frameworks that teams can carry back into daily work.
Who should attend a team coaching program?
Programs can serve executive teams, department leaders, high-potential cohorts, project teams, team managers, HR professionals, and Learning and Development leaders. A private team experience is designed for groups of 8 to 20 participants from one organization, while enterprise partnerships support broader leadership populations over multiple years. The right audience depends on the leadership challenge and the outcomes your organization wants to improve.
Can a program be customized for our organization?
Yes. Private Team Experiences, Enterprise Partnerships, and Custom Programs & Keynotes can be tailored to your organization’s specific leadership challenges, values, and strategic priorities. Faculty collaborate with clients to create relevant case studies and exercises that reflect their business environment. Customization can also include scheduling arrangements, helping teams participate without forcing a one-size-fits-all development format.
What leadership skills do participants develop?
Participants develop practical capabilities in strategic thinking, decisive leadership, communication, teamwork, resilience, negotiation, conflict resolution, and values-based decision-making. Programs use historical and experiential contexts to examine how leaders respond when information is incomplete, stakes are high, and priorities compete. Facilitated discussion connects those lessons to current organizational realities, so teams can identify clearer actions and stronger leadership habits.
How long do team coaching programs last?
Program length varies by format. The Gettysburg Leadership Journey is a 2.5-day immersive experience, while one-day summits provide a condensed option for busy teams. The Pearl Harbor Leadership Experience runs for three days, and Enterprise Partnerships follow a multi-year cohort progression model. Virtual programming offers a flexible alternative for teams unable to attend an in-person experience.
What is included with a private team experience?
Private Team Experience fees include instruction and materials, accommodations typically covering two nights, meals and refreshments, battlefield transportation, guest speaker presentations, individual coaching sessions, and post-program resources. Participants arrange their own travel to and from the program location. The experience is designed for a single organization and can be scheduled flexibly by arrangement to support operational needs.
Are virtual team coaching options available?
Yes. Lincoln Leadership Live is a live, interactive virtual program that enables teams to participate from wherever they are located. It combines facilitator-led instruction, historical leadership insights, and modern video-conferencing technology to create an engaging remote learning experience. This format is well suited to distributed teams or organizations that want accessible leadership development without travel to an immersive program site.
How do we enroll or arrange payment for a program?
Organizations can discuss enrollment, scheduling, and payment options directly with Lincoln Leadership Institute. Private experiences and enterprise partnerships may offer payment plans, while qualified organizations may be eligible for Net-30 payment terms. Corporate purchase orders are accepted. Open Enrollment Groups also offer discounts for groups of three or more participants, providing a cost-effective path for smaller cohorts.
