What is included in a leadership development program?
Lincoln Leadership Institute programs combine facilitated instruction, interactive exercises, historical case studies, and practical reflection. Depending on the format, experiences may also include individual coaching, guest speakers, accommodations, meals, transportation at the program site, and post-program resources. Private and enterprise engagements can be customized around your organization’s priorities, values, and business challenges.
Who should attend a leadership development program?
Programs are designed for executives, senior leaders, high-potential employees, managers, department heads, and HR or learning-and-development professionals. Organizations often send intact teams to improve alignment or build cohorts of emerging leaders. The right audience depends on your goals, whether that is strengthening strategic thinking, communication, resilience, negotiation, or leadership succession.
Can the program be customized for our California organization?
Yes. Private Team Experiences, Enterprise Partnerships, and Custom Programs & Keynotes can be designed around an organization’s leadership challenges, culture, values, and strategic priorities. Faculty collaborate with clients to develop relevant case studies and exercises. This makes the learning more applicable to California-based teams working across industries, locations, or fast-changing business conditions.
Is virtual leadership development available?
Yes. Lincoln Leadership Live is a live, interactive virtual format that enables participants to join from any location. It combines facilitator-led instruction, historical leadership insights, and participant discussion through video conferencing. Virtual delivery is well suited to distributed teams that need a shared development experience without coordinating travel to an in-person program location.
How many participants can attend a private team program?
The Private Team Experience is designed for one organization with 8 to 20 participants. It is the Institute’s most popular enrollment option because the content can be fully customized for the group. Organizations seeking to develop larger populations over time may consider an Enterprise Partnership with a cohort-based, multi-year progression model.
How long do leadership development programs last?
Program length varies by format. The Gettysburg Leadership Journey is a 2.5-day immersive experience, while selected summits are one-day intensives. Enterprise Partnerships are multi-year engagements, and virtual or custom programs are arranged to fit organizational needs. The best format depends on the desired depth of learning, audience size, and scheduling requirements.
Are payment options available for organizations?
Qualified organizations may use Net-30 payment terms, and corporate purchase orders are accepted. Payment plans are available for Private Team Experiences and Enterprise Partnerships. Open Enrollment Groups also offer group discounts for three or more participants. Pricing and available terms vary by program format, so organizations should discuss their enrollment model and requirements when planning.

It combines academic rigor with the Institute’s experiential leadership methodology, creating a pathway for professionals seeking a recognized leadership credential. Program details are being developed, and participants can also request digital badges or credentials for eligible programs.
